Maybe we need to rethink who runs things since for the most part we seem to be on a collision course so what if it was pets in charge? They would have no problem with being grand marshals and other promotional photo opts but would they fight like cats and dogs when it came to solving problems? At any rate there have been many pets in various offices like Stubbs the cat who served as mayor in Talkeetna, Alaska for 18 scandal free years. He performed all the basic mayoral duties like wandering around town, drinking catnip laced water from a margarita glass and taking lots of naps. There have been several other towns with animal (4 legged variety) mayors, Bosco, a black lab in Sunol, CA, Lincoln the goat in Fair Haven, VT. , and Frida a chihuahua was mayor of San Francisco, Ca for a day.
