Talk Like a Pirate?

 Even though August is Pirate Month, Talk Like a Pirate Day is September 19 so a few helpful hints are in order. Pretty much talk normal since the pirate talk one hears came from Long John Silver of "Treasure Island" fame and was actually a dialect of southwestern England. Also forget about the treasure maps for two reasons, pirates tended to turn over their loot quickly so they could go get more and secondly any map in those days was a treasure in its own right. The peg legs were also taken from "Treasure Island" with records showing only two pirates who were known to sport wooden legs.
