I occasionally do posts on obscure museums because the things that people think to preserve fascinate me. I guess if I had to pick a favorite it would be the Penis Museum in Iceland. The one I want to bring to your attention today is the Morbid Anatomy Museum located in New York City. It really sounds like my kind of place with all the various exhibits ranging from anatomical art,history of medicine,death and society,mourning china and curiosities to name a few. I also enjoy the idea that it was born mostly from one woman with eclectic interests who discovered her inclinations were interesting to other people as well. It is truly a wacky,wonderful world we live in!
