It is never mentioned where 11 year old Ciro Ortiz got the idea to hang his shingle out in a subway station but I am reminded of Lucy van Pelt from Peanuts and her booth offering psychiatric help for $.05. Sixth grade Ciro took a more refined approach, offering "emotional advice" for $2. His first day he was nervous and unsure of himself but in no time he was enjoying the work and making friends. He says the most common thing the adults talk to him about are changes,he tells them "We have to accept change, life is always changing". On a busy Sunday he makes up to $50 in two hours, and who would be easier to unload an adult's woes on than a child and feel good about doing it when you pay them $2? This kid has it going on!
