The dog poop crisis took local turn yesterday as I was out for my afternoon walk. A woman was walking about 10 feet in front of me with her small dog and I noticed her gesturing to another woman who was walking her dog on the lawn of a local tourist attraction. The woman on the lawn had just let her dog poop on the lawn and was walking away giving the woman in front of me the stink eye. I slowed my pace to see where the poop woman went and after she put her dog back into her car I got out my cell phone and took a picture of her license plate (B.C.,Canada) and continued my walk. I stopped a couple of blocks down to visit with a friend and the dog poop woman comes up and starts ranting at me and wanting to know what I thought I was going to do with that picture. I told her I would see to it that it ended up in the proper hands,she started denying her dog had pooped then cursing me at which time I said,"perhaps you doth protest too much". She then took my picture and stormed off. I spent the rest of the day in random gales of laughter thinking about the whole scenario. I had only taken the picture to make her aware that her "crime" did not go unnoticed,and I believe I accomplished my task! Sorry I can't post the picture of her license plate,for some reason Google tells me I don't have permission to use that photo.
