A controversial promotion at a restaurant in China called the Trendy Shrimp is offering discounts to women according to their bra cup size,the larger the breast the larger the discount. Women with an A cup would receive a 5% discount and those with a G cup would score a 65% discount. In China discounts are expressed differently than in the US,the lower the number the higher the discount as you will note in the poster. A lot of people found the offer vulgar and discriminatory but the the manager defended the poster and noted a 20% increase in business since the poster was posted.
Meanwhile in Australia men were being taxed a voluntary 18% in a gender pay gap tax meant to raise awareness about wage inequality.
When I first read about these stories I thought that would never happen in the US but quickly retracted that thought as I remembered that we have taken a giant step back in civilization and now all bets are off.
