Though not exactly a fashion first a new Guinness World Record was set with the world's largest wearable cake dress made out of traditional cake ingredients and weighing in at 289 lb and 13 oz. The cake was unveiled at the Swiss World Wedding Fair and had to exceed 149 lb 14 oz plus the model had to be able to walk at least 16 ft. without the cake falling apart which is where the aluminum frame supporting the cake came into play. As with any Guinness records involving food,the food cannot go to waste so the cake dress was served at the fair and the leftovers at the bakery that created the dress the next day.
