As is often the case I was looking for something unrelated and noticed something about why people don't see white dog poop like they used to in the 70s and I thought to myself it had to be because people pick the poop up now so the sun and elements don't have time to bleach it out,wrong! The missing white dog poop is due to dietary changes in commercial dog food. When dogs were pooping white the foods contained higher percentages of beef and bone meal,both high in calcium. The only dogs pooping white nowadays are the ones being fed a raw diet which according to "experts" contain too much calcium. It kind of makes me nostalgic for white dog poop.
