The Somali pirates not only have spokespeople and guns to get the demands across to their victims,they also have a form letter complete with letterhead. The letter politely informs the ship owners/insurers what they need to do to get their ship back and is adorned with a skull and crossed swords. Their translation skills could use some work,but they get their point across.
