In the early days of ATM transactions many people experienced less than satisfactory results,bank cards were eaten or denied for no valid reason. Whether or not operator error was involved it seems like the bugs have mostly been worked out...unless you want to count the 23 year old Florida man who became enraged when the machine gave him too much money and started punching the ATM. Of course it was all caught on camera and he was easily IDed through his transaction and later arrested for felony criminal mischief as he did over $5,000 worth of damage to the machine. Only in Florida would someone get that upset over receiving more money than they wanted. If he was having a big honesty issue over the extra money why not just return it instead of bashing a machine and I imagine injuring himself in the process.
