In case your'e wondering what HUI stands for it isn't any of the actual meanings. I'm using it to stand for house under the influence. According to police in Maryland a frat house they raided included so much alcohol consumption that the Breathalyzer registered a .01 from the air in the house. There were 70 people inside the house and all but 6 were underage. The 6 20 year old men were charged with 126 counts each of allowing underage possession and furnishing alcohol to minors. Okay,we have been hearing a lot about drinking problems on college campuses but the part that has me scratching my head is how a Breathalyzer can measure the air inside a house? I tried to find an answer but didn't get anywhere near one.
