There wasn't much information to be found on the annual Running of the Brides in Bangkok,Thailand which left me with many unanswered questions. This November 250 couples competed in the 2.5 mile race for the grand prize of $28,000 in the form of wedding attire,rings and honeymoon. What it didn't include was where the men figure in the competition. The photos show women in wedding dresses and sneakers running with no males to be seen. Maybe they are cheering the women on from the sidelines? and if a wedding dress is part of the prize where do they get the wedding dresses they wear for the race? If anyone has knowledge of this event I would love to hear more.
