Opossums have a way worse reputation than they deserve,they are one of the least dangerous animals a person can encounter,up to and including they seldom carry diseases but they do have the kind of creepy looking thing going on. All that considered why would anyone decide it would be fun to give an opossum alcohol? Even though this was reported as being the opossum's own doing I find it hard to believe that a opossum got inside a liquor store on its own power but even harder to believe is that once inside the establishment it was not only able to open a small bottle of booze but then willingly consume it? I say nope,not going for it. The store owner called the police who came and took the marsupial to a wildlife refuge where it recovered after a couple of days. Oh,did I mention this took place in Florida?
