A woman in Pennsylvania received an unexpected surprise just before Christmas and it wasn't a pleasant one. Her electric bill from Penelec for November totaled $284,460,000,000. Her first thought was that the electric company had significantly raised their rates,then she began to wonder if her family had somehow put their Christmas lights up wrong resulting in the billions of dollars of power usage. When she contacted Penelec they reassured her that it was an error though they had never heard of an error that was that large.
