The most striking thing about the Merry Munchies Meal is the many limits which I'm guessing are because they want to keep it simple for the stoned. Jack in the Box is partnering with cannabis platform Merry Jane and Snoop Dogg to bring a meal designed for stoners to limited locations in California for a limited time (January 18-25) to acknowledge the January 1st California legalization . The meal is composed of chicken strips,two tacos,five churros,onion rings,french fries and a small drink for $4.20. The price reflects the code words for smoking pot which were first used in the early 1970s by a group of high school students who met at 4:20 after school to smoke pot,though some will claim it is police code for marijuana but that isn't the true origin. Driving stoned will remain illegal so I'm not sure how all these people are supposed to get their Munchie Meals.
