There are more and more working animals today. The working title used to have a slightly different meaning,for example: the Working Group of dogs recognized by the A.K.C. were mainly herding animals but today there are also service animals who work in a different field. Then you have a working cat named D-O-G (pronounced Dee-oh-jee) whose job is to train service dogs to not be distracted. D-O-G started his life as a barn cat but worked his way up the corporate ladder to his current position at Support Dogs, Inc. in St. Louis. D-O-G is a very diligent worker and seems to enjoy his job of grabbing dog's tails and slapping faces,to name a few of his duties.
