Service With a Snore

A 36 year old South Carolina man decided he needed something to eat at 3 a.m. and went to his local Waffle House to feed that need. He stood at the register for ten minutes waiting for someone to show up then wandered outside to see if he could find an employee but found no one. He was still hungry so he went to the kitchen and found a worker asleep. That's when he got to work on the grill and fixed himself a Texas bacon cheesesteak melt. After finishing his meal he cleaned up and left. All the while the employee remained asleep. Later in the day he returned to pay for his meal and received both apologies for his Waffle House experience and job offers for either his cooking skills or as a secret shopper. He was also assured that proper disciplinary action would be taken on the employee.  So much for the Waffle House Index used by FEMA.
