Prank Within a Prank

 An UK man who usually uses a fake arm and leg to make it look like he has someone locked in the trunk of his car decided to set the prank up with his van this year. After putting the limbs in place he went about his business pretty much forgetting the spare parts were there. He stopped by his brother's house which is near to his own home and heard sirens and by using his phone app to monitor his home security system saw the police knocking on his door so he rushed on home. The police said a kidnapping had been reported,so the man led the officer around to the back of his van so he could see the obviously fake appendages that had been reported. Fortunately the officer had a good sense of humor and all that came out of the visit was a laugh and an order to end the search. 

Female Fail?

 Women in Australia were concerned when  female only parking spaces were offered in a parking lot. Most women thought it was a dog whistle for those wanting to do them harm,leaving them more vulnerable since they would be on their own with their would be attackers. What they didn't know was that the area offered enhanced security,not only with extra CCTV but also recording everyone who comes and goes. Men are not banned from the area but they also aren't encouraged to park there. The president of the National Council of Women Australia said it was a Band- Aid solution and that men should be educated to respect women and not attack them. In a perfect world that would be a perfect solution though for the years until that point is reached this may prove to be a help. 

Mourning Morning Coffee

 Some no good doctor is recommending not drinking coffee first thing in the morning. He explained that when a person first wakes up it is because of a cortisol spike so the caffeine fix should be postponed until mid morning when the cortisol begins to wear off. His other crackpot suggestions were not pressing the snooze button as that signals your brain to go into another sleep cycle which can cause all day drowsiness. His last suggestion is not checking your phone/computer first thing since that forces your brain from delta waves straight to alpha leaving a person on edge. On one hand I'm sure he has a point,on the other hand I've been doing it this way for so long and it's been working fine so far. 

It's the Little Things

 Even though it was started as a joke by two YouTube stars the "Small Dong March" attracted hundreds of people carrying signs in Los Angeles passionately pleading for people to stop the stigma of the small penis. Some of the crowd chanted "End Small Dong Shame" as they marched. Days before the march the pair put a call out to all people regardless of dong size to join the cause. Considering that they drew hundreds to the march indicates that they had at least a hundred people willing to get behind them for probably either for fun or lack of anything better to do.  

 

It's a Dog's Life

 Found an interesting list of dog laws from around the world that are pretty humorous. Some of these were obviously put on the books to protect the dogs while others it's hard to tell the objective. In the UK dogs must be micro-chipped by 8 weeks of age,dogs must be secured when riding in vehicles,a person can be fined for walking their dog with a harness instead of a collar,jail time may be involved if you walk your dog along a road without a leash,and both a fine and jail time if you feed your dog a vegetarian diet. In the US state of Oklahoma it is illegal to make an ugly face at a dog,in Connecticut it is illegal to educate your dog at Harvard,in Alaska it is illegal to tie a dog to the roof of a car,in Delaware you can't sell your dog's excess hair,in Idaho it is illegal for a person to sleep in a dog kennel,in Illinois it is illegal to give a dog either whiskey or a lighted cigar. There are more from other areas of the world but due to no wanting to ramble on I will end without including each one. 

Empty

 As disgusting and lowlife as ever is what most people have come to expect of the ex-president and his children and yet they still have a few despicable tricks up their sleeves. I hate to even give them recognition but their ugly acts fester inside of me and threaten to poison me. At first I thought Jr. was extremely high most of the time and not the sharpest tool in the shed but as time goes on it seems more like a total lack of a moral compass. I'm sure most of you know about his latest money making stunt of selling T-shirts about the unfortunate Baldwin shooting incident. Most talking heads agree that Jr. is trying to pay back Baldwin for impersonating his daddy on SNL,get over it Jr. every president since the show has started has been featured,the only difference being the rest were adult enough to laugh it off instead of taking it as an insult. 

Full of Beans

 Or maybe he's a has bean? or a bean counter? Whatever the case this man clearly has beans on the brain. The 67 year old bean fanatic even had his name changed to Captain Beany in 1991 and has spent $13,700 on various bean themed items including a coffin for when his 'sell by date' is reached. Captain Beany enjoys doing charitable events locally and engaging with the community. Oddly enough he only eats beans around four times a week,I would have guessed that to be considerably more often.

Extreme Halloween

 If you think you're brave enough maybe you want to take on McKamey Manor in Tennessee where a retired Marine uses both physical and psychological torture including waterboarding,eating and drinking unknown substances and being buried alive. No one has ever "beat" the Manor which used to offer a $20,000 prize but has since dropped that offer as it attracted the wrong kind of people. Even though the people are under hypnotic suggestion they are aware what they are doing which doesn't explain why there has been actions like pulling their own teeth or other wise causing themselves bodily harm in the past. Nope,that a pass for me. 

Snooze Fest

 For $13 to $51 per ticket,depending on whether you choose the upper or lower level of the tour bus,a person can get a 5 hour,47 mile ride for the sleep deprived including a goodie bag with eye mask and ear plugs. The idea for the bus tour sprouted from the people of Hong Kong being sleep deprived and many of them find the only place they can get any rest is on public transportation. The bus does make a few stops where the passengers can get out for photo ops and the first tour sold out so maybe they're onto something,though with the climate crisis in mind I wonder if they couldn't use a simulation to achieve the same results?
