There's little doubt in my mind that the airport at Changi Singapore Airport is a tourist attraction in its own right. Dubbed the Crown Jewell of air travel the main feature is an 130 ft. indoor waterfall, using recirculated rainwater the cylindrical falls cascades seven stories and if that isn't enough it is also lighted after dark. The area has lush gardens, mazes and trails to spend your layover exploring. The Jewel was designed by a firm in L.A. who also designed the water feature at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. As fabulous as this attraction is it is also a shame that the $1.25 billion used to build it couldn't be used to house and feed the homeless, with that thought in mind it kind of take the enjoyment factor out of the equation.
