Bountiful Month

Hard to believe the year is nearing its end,but the calendar rarely lies about these things. I have wondered why Thanksgiving is celebrated this late in the year as it seems unlikely that there was a harvest so late in the year and even if there was wouldn't they want to save what they could for the winter months? Some sources say that the first Thanksgiving was not the first, that the pilgrims had a feast day whenever there was something to thank God for. Anyway,on with the month!
