Considered by many to be a mainstay comfort food Campbell's Chicken Noodle,in my opinion, borders on disgusting,though to be fair I was raised on homemade noodles and chicken so the soggy noodles,overcooked chicken and high sodium canned soup in no way compares. I found out an amusing fact about the soup in question,when it was first introduced as Campbell's Chicken with Noodles soup sales were poor until the name of the soup was misread on an episode of Amos 'n' Andy radio show as Chicken Noodle Soup. This mistake captured the interest of listeners and sales took off with people wanting to try this new soup. Needless to say Campbell's quickly changed the product's name and the rest is history!
