Chewy

Most of the local readers may have already heard about Seattle's gum wall's upcoming cleaning. This is the third cleaning for the wall and it is fully expected to be re-gummed as soon as this cleaning is completed. The wall is located at Pike Place Market and is called Market Theater Gum Wall. The gumming was started in the 90s when people standing in line for tickets would stick their gum on the wall. The wall is ranked the 2nd germiest tourist attraction in the world behind Ireland's Blarney Stone. The steam blasting is expected to take place between 11/10 to 11/13. The bricks start to break down from the sugar in the gum if it isn't removed periodically. Imagine what it does to your teeth! That cleaning couldn't be a fun job.
