Another new twist on the designer brewing front,Georgia based Terrapin Beer Company will be offering the new Chopsecutioner Bat Wood Aged IPA along with three other ball park exclusives when the Braves play their first game in the new ball park. After fermentation takes place the beer is transferred to age on wood chips which are left over from the process of making bats. Chopsecutioner is a lighter beer than their traditional ball park offering (7.3% alcohol) which makes it easier to drink while sitting in the hot sun without getting drunk off the first beer,I guess that would make it considerably easier to remember the final score! Knowing how some of these beers are named makes me wonder what the secret ingredient is in Dead Guy Ale.
