In this case the chicken came first as it laid a perfectly spherical egg which might not seem like a big deal but is actually a one in a billion happening. The family the chicken named Twinksie belongs to has kept chickens for several decades but has recently started a chicken rescue so they are needing to add on to the chicken facilities which is why they have listed the egg on eBay. So far the highest bid is $579.36. I'm not sure why anyone would want a perfectly round egg especially one that cost that much as it isn't exactly something you would want to eat for that price but how would they know for sure it was an actual egg unless they broke it? and if they didn't break it it would eventually rot so I'm missing something or don't understand the attraction of owning something perishable even if it is a one in a billion item.
