Got Your Goat?

I don't know why it never occurred to me that goats could suffer from anxiety especially since other animals can be anxious, but I digress once again. A woman in New Jersey who has a sanctuary for disabled, abused, sick,or injured goats came across an odd comfort for a blind/anxious goat named Polly. For some reason she bought a duck costume around Halloween time and when she put the costume on Polly to take a photo the goat became instantly calm and soon fell asleep, needless to say she rushed out and purchased more costumes but the duck costume is still Polly's favorite, plus a new goat name Pocket arrived in the meantime and has become fast friends with Polly.
Leanne Lauricella said her blind rescue goat Polly, who suffers from anxiety and neurological problems, instantly calmed down once she was put in a plush duck costume made for children

Once the costume was on, it was as if Polly went into a trance
But Lauricella hopes Polly (pictured) will one day shed her need for the duck costume, with a handicapped baby goat named Pocket at the sanctuary
Nowadays, Lauricella shares heartwarming photos of the two goats snuggling next to each other with her 315,000 Instagram followers
