Bad to the Bone

Good song by the way,but not so good in connection to today's post. I read a study done by the University of Eastern Finland and can't help but think they overlooked some important factors to make the results fit a preconceived notion. The study concluded that women that were happier with their lives suffered less bone loss. The first thing that bothered me about the study was where it was conducted which I assume was Finland. With that area in mind we know that they have less daylight hours than other areas around the globe so that should be considered in any bone density study, plus the only mention of exercise was that if they weren't satisfied with their lives they tended to exercise less in turn generating less of the wonderful endorphin that make a person feel better after exercising,so it seems more like a chicken or egg type question than a scientific study. The good news at the conclusion of the study was moderate drinkers have better bone than non drinkers! As far as the being happy it is good for your health in many other ways I just disagree with the conclusion of this study.
