What are the odds that a man with the last name of Banana would have a girlfriend with the last name of Orange? and to muddy the waters further they cohabitated in Blackburn,Lancashire (I mention this because of the Beatles song "Day in the Life" 4,000 holes in Blackburn,Lancashire,not that it really has anything to do with the story,but I'm still suffering from election brain). Okay that gets today's digression out of the way. Mr. Banana was arrested after throwing a plant pot at Miss Orange during a disagreement over whether he was cheating on her or not (it is unknown if the other party had a fruit or plant related name). He had been drinking wine prior to the assault in case that counts as a fruit. Mr. Banana pleaded guilty and was ordered to do community service and pay restitution to Miss Orange. Yet another day in the life.
