Finally a AI has been developed to read your cat's expressions to tell if they are in pain. A Canadian animal health technology company ,Sylvester.ai,has released an app called Tably that uses your phones camera to analyze ear and head position,eye narrowing,muzzle tension and whisker change to detect distress. Together those signs can read feline grimace scale (FGS) to assess pain. Now if someone could just develop an app that could also diagnose what is causing the pain, kitties of the world could rejoice!
