Van Leeuwen Ice Cream partnered with Kraft Heinz to produce Kraft Macaroni and Cheese-flavored Ice Cream this week. The roll out date coincided with National Macaroni and Cheese Day for those of you who follow my monthly planner. The thought behind the product was summer is a time to enjoy ice cream and what better to blend it with than America's favorite comfort food,Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. They claim the ice cream is made with quality ingredients and contains no artificial flavors,preservatives or dyes,just like their Macaroni and Cheese...say what? I haven't read their label in years but wasn't that particular product loaded with all of the above? I would try it mainly out of curiosity though I can't believe that color is natural.
