Fries With That?

A New York restaurant just claimed its 10th Guinness World Record. This time was for the most expensive French fries ($200) which was prepared to celebrate National French Fry Day on the 11th. The dish is called "Creme de la Creme Pommes Frites" and includes Chipperbeck potatoes,Dom Perignon Champagne,J.LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar,cage-free goose fat from France,Guerande Truffle Salt,truffle oil,Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello cheese,shaved black summer truffles from Italy,truffle butter,organic A2 A2 100% grass fed cream from Jersey Cows,Gruyere Truffled Swiss Raclette,and a topping of 23-karat edible gold dust. They may be worth the $200 but I think sticking with the basics in the case of French fries has its own merits.
