This is such a win-win proposition it's hard to believe it isn't more widespread. Two dozen goats from a farm in New York are in Manhattan's Riverside Park eating away the invasive weeds growing on difficult terrain. Not only are they enjoying every minute of their grand buffet they are also eco friendly which isn't true of the army of laborers it would take to do the same work with weed whackers and other clearing methods that on a per hour basis emit more pollution than a diesel engine. Now if any of you are worried about the goats taking work away from people who need it,what I say to you is get a grip! Not many people want that kind of work to begin with and never mind that humans can be trained to do all kinds of work and in this case the goats do a better job with less environmental impact.
