 When Napoleon died in 1821 the doctor doing the autopsy took out his heart,then clipped off his penis. If that seems a little weird by today's standards just wait until I get to the weird part. His penis has been bought and sold and traveled the world since his death,see I told you it would get weirder! The doctor passed the penis to Napoleon's chaplain who took it to the island of Corsica where it stayed until his death,it then became a family heirloom and was finally sold in 1916 to a bookseller for an undisclosed sum. The bookseller tried to sell it to the French government though they didn't want it. An antiquarian was the next owner who put it on display at New York's  Museum of French Art. After the exhibition it was sold to a collector,then another bookseller,then another collector and finally a urologist in 1977 for $3,000. It stayed with him until his death when it was bequeathed to his daughter where it still remains.
