I'm not an expert on currency laws in Dublin though I doubt it is legal to refuse it if it has been sweated on since a lot worse things happen in the course of paper currencies lives, but that's exactly what a mattress businessman did when the heat wave had women storing cash in their bras. Of course that isn't the only problem with this story...if he sells mattresses how many women would stuff enough cash into their bras to buy a new mattress? especially during a heat wave, which brings the next question, would he also refuse a sweaty credit card? No matter but if I ever need a mattress in Ireland his business won't be on my short list.
