Once again I might be the only one that has never heard of Joffery dancers,but I came across it in a book (bet you're surprised about that!) that Ronald Reagan's son had been a Joffery dancer so of course I had to find out what that was.

The Joffery Ballet was the first dance company to perform at the White House at Jacqueline Kennedy's invitation,the first to appear on American television,the first to create a ballet set to rock music,the first American company to perform a rock ballet in Russia,the first and only dance company to appear on the cover of Time magazine,and the first company to have a major motion picture based on it,Robert Altman's "The Company".
