Money

"Money" was written by Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters and released May 7, 1973 it is notable for its unusual time signature and the sound effects of coins clinking and cash registers ringing.
Today's blog is left over thoughts from yesterday's blog and more thoughts on green. Three of the richest people in American are from the Walton family, which founded Wal-Mart. Coming in at number 10 is Alice Walton (heiress) with 20.9 billion. At number 9 is Alice's brother Jim Walton with 21.1 billion. Christy Walton in number 6 with 24.5 billion making her the world's richest woman and Wal-Mart widow.
First thought I had on this is what do they do with that obscene amount of money? I didn't really find an answer that sounded like it was anything with helping out their fellow man,or for that matter the employees whose sweat keeps their pockets lined. Is it just me,or does something not add up about a discount store making that kind of money? I know that a lot of their business practices are less than pristine, but good god! At least Bill Gates (number 1 on the list) spends 28 billion a year in an attempt to wipe polio out in the countries that are still plagued with it,and it seems to me that he came by his fortune more honestly, never mind he was a Harvard dropout.
