Heavy Metal Diet

I heard about this guy a long time ago and though I thought it an odd item I didn't look into it further until today. A man in France ate over 9 tons of metal over the course of 40 years,it was discovered in his youth that he suffered from pica,a mental disorder which causes people to eat non food items. When he was 9 he started his strange diet with parts from the family TV then went on to nails and glass. He learned he had an incredibly thick lining of his stomach and intestines allowing him to consume most anything. At that point he decided to turn his affliction into a career. The following is a list of items consumed in his lifetime: 2 beds,7 television sets,6 chandeliers, 18 bicycles,15 shopping carts,and 1 Cessna 150 airplane (in 2 years time). He died of natural causes in 2007.
