Political Power

With all the uproar on the political  front I thought it was time to lighten things up a little. A small town in Minnesota (around 20 people) had a 5 year old mayor until a few days ago. He started his political career at age 3 and ran the town until his replacement's name (a 16 year old) was drawn from the ballot box. The small town has no formal city government and the position of mayor requires tasks such as throwing candy at parades. Some of the other things accomplished in his time of service were declaring ice cream the top of the food pyramid and helping raise money for a nearby Ronald McDonald House. His family joked that the experience would look good for his 2048 run for President.
The adorable 5-year-old, Robert (Bobby) Tufts, says he might give his kid brother a turn at being mayor.
Bobby lost his bid for a third consecutive term as mayor when a 16-year-old rival's name was pulled from the ballot box at the Taste of Dorset festival on Sunday.
