Spacey

Does anyone remember about a year ago when a bill was introduced into U.S. Congress to establish an Apollo Lunar Landing Sites National Historical Park on the moon? It was controversial at the time as other countries thought the U.S. was trying to claim the moon as U.S. territory. It seems to me that a simple change of the name from National to International would have been a simple start to solving that problem. I have been wondering what, if anything, ever came of that bill. Some other space related items...did you know that space has a scent? More accurately it has different scents depending where you are in the solar system, they range from welding fumes,BBQ,to different kinds of alcohols. The last tidbit for the day is the Gemini III launched with a Reuben (my favorite) sandwich aboard, and yes they did get into serious trouble over smuggling an unapproved item along for the ride!
